New report confirms that Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe has been arrested. The Senator, representing Abia South in the Senate, was arrested by the Department of State Services. He was arrested in Abuja on Friday at a popular hotel located at Maitama District.

President Buhari and his family celebrated the end of the Ramadan fast, Eid Mubarak, at the state house Abuja. The president and his family members were joined by clerics and other guests. President Buhari earlier in the day joined other Muslim faithfuls to offer prayer to God at the Eid Fitri prayer ground in Abuja.  See photos below:

US president Donald J. Trump is currently having a historic meeting with North Korean leader, Kim Jong Un in Singapore.The meeting is supposed to last for 45 mins. The two leaders will kick things off by meeting with only their translators present, a U.S. official said. Trump and Kim and their translators will meet first in a session first, before they allow their respective advisers to join them.

Former President, Olusegun Obasanjo, yesterday paid a visit to the family of his late wife, Stella Obasanjo, at Iruekpen, Edo state. The former president was received by the former first lady's parents, her father, Christopher Abebe who is almost 100years and her mother, Theresa who is almost 90 and other family members.
